Meet the Owner
Claresse McKinney
I am the proud owner of Busy Bee Play House, where your child will have the opportunity to learn and explore the big world around them! I am originally from Dallas, TX, and decided to further my education at Prairie View A&M University where I received my B.B.A in Marketing and a Master’s degree in Human Science. While pursuing my master degree I had the opportunity to meet my wonderful husband of three amazing years. A few months after marriage we gave birth to our beautiful baby girl "Busy Bee" who keeps us both extremely busy as she learns to explore the world around her. Our family has recently been blessed with a newborn baby boy "Wiggle Worm" who exhibits a busy nature as well.
Once I completed my education I was thrilled to land a position in the Oil and Gas Industry here in Houston, TX. At first it was exciting because I was finally beginning a career with a major company. However, the excitement wore off when I realized that I was missing out on what I was most passionate about in life, children! I have come to find that working with children is where I am the most happiest and fulfilled.
In 2017, when this realization “hit me” there was a desire in my heart to put both my family first as well as make a difference in the lives of others in my career. This prompted me to start Busy Bee Play House and now I welcome you to the journey! Here at Busy Bee Play House we are more than just a "babysitting service" our goal is to make a difference through love, respect and a positive example while producing the best professional child care services for you and your family.
